A showcase of Italian excellence in the field of communication, culture and institutions. There are 31 editions of GrandPrix Advertising Strategies, the most important award dealing with brands and brand communication in Italy.

When strategy meets creative thinking, the results are extraordinary, and Milan has all the numbers to present the best in advertising. The city celebrates excellence in the work of agencies, with a commitment that follows in the footsteps of important international festivals. With an eye abroad and attention focused on local areas, the capital of the region Lombardy presents itself as the hub of brand strategy.
The 2018 Final Gala took place in Milan at Teatro Nazionale on May 21st, 2018.

Uniqueness

Unlike all other awards dedicated to the advertising sector, GrandPrix does not concentrate its attention on pure creativity, but rather on the construction of brand strategies. The awards are therefore handed out by following a defined marketing logic.

 

How winners are selected

Big and small advertising campaigns all have the same chances of winning, regardless of their budget. The most important criteria are: creativity strategy, media strategy and effectiveness, in brief the winning team play of client/agency/media planner.

The Jury includes some of the best and brightest personalities among the top corporate Italian clients with EMEA responsibilities. They designate the winners for each category: the Winners List.

During the final event, a vote cast by the entire audience, dedicated, involved, and enthusiastic, will decide the GrandPrix among the Winners List.

A winning formula that gives an active role to the participants at the Final Gala.

 

Important guests

GrandPrix, which has been brilliantly hosted for more than 15 years by Piero Chiambretti, has become a highly-anticipated event in the world of communication.

In the latest editions of the gala finale, special awards were awarded to individuals of culture, in sports, and even in international politics, such as Tara Ghandi, Enrico Mentana, Inge Feltrinelli, Paolo Liguori, Roberto Formigoni, Betty Williams e Pierfrancesco Majorino, Giulia Maria Mozzoni Crespi, Susanna Agnelli, Silvio Berlusconi, Pierferdinando Casini, Umberto Veronesi, Valerio Massimo Manfredi, Enrico Ghezzi, Franco Baresi, Eto’o, Pippo Inzaghi, and Carolina Kostner.

Special awards were also dedicated to individuals in the manufacturing sector, such as Marco Tronchetti Provera, Brunello Cucinelli, Alessandro Profumo and Renzo Rosso. Awards were also given out to those in the entertainment world, and among winners in recent years there have been Claudio Bisio, Sergio Castellitto, Cristina Chiabotto, Ambra Angiolini, Megan Gale, Fiorello, Mike Bongiorno, Giorgio Faletti, Morgan, Ezio Greggio, Paola Cortellesi, Valeria Marini, Beppe Sala, Gerry Scotti, Giusy Versace, Alessia Marcuzzi, Albertino, Stefano Fontana e Lele Sacchi, Elio e le Storie Tese, Stefano Accorsi, Lapo Elkann, Olivier François, Danilo Gallinari, Davide Oldani, Rita Pavone.

International scope

GrandPrix is open to all international agencies that operate in the italian advertising and strategic communications sectors. This openness further raises the value and prestige of the prizes awarded.
